Cindy Silberg - Operations Manager .
Cindy ensures that the daily core operations run smoothly. She is the driver of our mentoring programme . Cindy is involved with strategy on all aspects of the organization together with events , organizing BEST courses and the general management of the operations of the division.
Nicci Raz - Marketing and Fundraising Manager .
Nicci is in charge of all Fundraising for ORT JET aswell as working on broader ORT SA Fundraising projects. She manages projects such as Jetjobs and general marketing functions .

Sakile is in charge of daily administration and management of the database.

Sean Melnick - Chairman
Sean matriculated in 1986, has a BComm (Honours) and is a CFA charterholder. Sean is the executive Chairman and co-founder of Peregrine Holdings, a wealth and asset management company listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. Prior to leaving Investec Bank to co-found Peregrine in 1996, Sean worked at Liberty Asset Management (now Stanlib) from 1992 to 1995 in both a portfolio management and derivative structuring capacity. Sean is a patron (as well as chairman) of ORT JET, a trustee of Foundation 2000, a member of the Board of Governors of the Chevrah Kadishah, a patron of the Rambam Trust and the JNF and a director of Arachim.
Dr. Avron Urison
Avron was born in Johannesburg. He qualified as a Medical Doctor (MBBCH) at the University of the Witwatersrand in 1992. He then completed his MBA at the University of Cape Town (UCT) in 1998.
Avron worked both locally and internationally in clinical practice, as well as in healthcare business consulting. Until 2002 he was CEO at MRI (Medical Rescue International) Criticare where he focused on implementing clinical and international IT management systems. He was also responsible for setting up the first private emergency network in West Africa. Since 2002, Avron has been consulting in the healthcare and general business environments, as well as being involved in various start-up companies.
Avron is past CEO of ORT JET and is a Conultant of ORT JET at present. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge in general management, business consulting and entrepreneurial ventures. Avron is an active member of the South African Jewish community and is committed to strengthening the Jewish community in all its facets.
Paul Bacher
Paul attained a Bachelor of Commerce in 1989, completed his articles of clerkship with Fisher Hoffman Sithole, and graduated with an MBA from Wits in 1996. Paul was one of the founders and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of NetActive Limited, a leading ISP that listed in April 1999. He went on to lead Corporate & Business Development at Call Centre Nucleus Holdings Ltd, and in January 2005, he joined the NetFlorist division of CCN to head up Business Development.
During 2002, Paul approached Lawrence Brick, to establish JET to assist Jewish businesses in trouble. In March 2005, together with the Chief Rabbi of SA, he formed Partners For Life, a national not-for-profit entity that facilitates Jewish marriages; Paul is the current chairman. He also sits on the Kollel Yad Shaul Special Projects committee. Paul has initiated and continues to participate in various development initiatives in both the Jewish and broader South African communities.
Lawrence Brick
Lawrence is a Chartered Accountant, with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Accounting degree. Lawrence has started a number of successful businesses in South Africa. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, Lawrence focused on private equity investments.
He was one of the founders and CEO of NetActive Limited, a leading Internet Service Provider that listed on the Johannesburg Securities Exchange in 1999. In 2002, NetActive refocused on outsourced call centre services, and acquired Call Centre Nucleus, a leading outsourced call centre service provider. In line with this focus, NetActive Limited’s name was changed to Call Centre Nucleus Holdings Limited, where Lawrence’s entrepreneurial talents and investment experience provide the leadership and strategic vision to the group.
Lawrence is committed to promoting business growth and interaction within South Africa's Jewish community.
David Frankel
David has an MBA (with Distinction) from Harvard Business School and a BSc (Honours) in Electrical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand. He was the co-founder of The Internet Solution Group, and, after it was sold to Dimension Data in 1997, was appointed to the board of directors and took over as CEO in July 2003. David was also the founder and Joint Chairman of the South African Internet Service Providers Association (80 corporate members), where he led the 6-year legal proceedings against the state-owned monopoly Telkom.
David is the founder and Chairman of HealthBridge, one of the largest electronic claims providers to the SA Healthcare market. He is currently a general partner of Ovation Capital (an early stage Venture Capital Group) based in New York and founder & general partner of Altirah Capital based in Johannesburg. In 2002, David was appointed as a consultant to the Chief Economist and VP of Development Economics of the World Bank based in Washington DC. He is the recipient of numerous awards.
Rowan Swartz
Rowan's BSC in Actuarial Science has provided him with an ability to understand complex financial structures. He has been responsible for the founding of a number of highly successful IT-based companies including ARC Computers (1988), Equitrac SA (1994), Symetrix IT Group (1998), ATM Solutions and The Kanderlane Group (1999). He is presently a director on numerous boards and provides ongoing strategic advice and consultancy to these businesses.
